barbapapa love

25 Jan

I made my first etsy sale this week! Yay!

And, it happend to be a little blue drawstring backpack for kids with a Barbapapa front pocket. Sale number two for this week was an adult size Barbapapa tote.

I love the fabric too! I’m going to make some pants for my little boy out of it.

If anyone else is interested in the Barbapapa, I’ve got a limited amount of fabric left, so when it’s all gone, that’s it! I’m going to make a couple of totes and drawstring backpacks, maybe a cushion. Does anyone have any other ideas for the fabric?

Congratulations on your first Etsy sale! My son loves his Barbapapa book. I have never heard anyone else ever mention the Barbapapas.

Wondering what you think of the Etsy experience. I have set up a shop but not listed any items, still playing around with the set up.

    Thanks, JW

Thanks! So far my etsy experience has been slow. I registered my shop almost two years ago, but forgot about it until this past august. I finally listed stuff, but didn’t make a sale until now. I’ve found that you have to be regular about listing items, otherwise your items and shop fall to the bottom of the list.

Listing the items can be a little tedious too. That said, it’s still a great way to get your product out there!

      Thanks again!
      Anna
