don’t forget to say “please” and “thank you”

10 Aug

Please, take a gander at the first of many Barbapapa projects – it’s a toy bin for Baby J!

I thought I’d leave you with that little something since in the upcoming weeks I’ll be focusing on sewing so I can add to my eight items on etsy!! Yay!

Since it’s Friday and Welcome Week has wound down here at annasophia.ca I just want to say a whole hearted thank you to everyone who has shown interest in this little venture of mine. I really didn’t expect even one view for the first little while – so – thank you! It’s been an exciting first week for me and I promise much more to come!

from sweden with love

9 Aug

Look at what my friend Emma brought back from Sweden for me! 5 metres of Barbapapa fabric! Man oh man, my little guy is definitely going to have some Barbapapa in his room.

I used to love reading my Barbapapa books when I was little. Anyone else out there love Barbapapa as much as I do?

You don’t have to go to Sweden for your Barbapapa fix – these great Toronto stores carry some fun items: Studio Brillantine, Magic Pony and Good Egg.

gettin’ down to business

oooh, they’ve arrived! These labels will go a long way to building a brand and will put the finishing touch on my product! Yay!

just a taste

7 Aug

So, you met my family yesterday, now, I think I need to give you a taste of what I create – since that’s kind of why I’m here.

So here you go! These are a couple examples of the cushion covers I’m currently selling on my etsy site.

I love fun colours and patterns, I use buttons and snaps and sometimes a zipper. I have tons of ideas and way more in the works, so stay tuned!

let me introduce…

6 Aug

I’m going to introduce my family to you since it’s Welcome Week here at annasophia.ca (I’ve just decided that now). I also feel it’s important you get to meet the people, furry and not, who so completely influence my life and inspire me to do what I do!

Below you’ll find a photo of my husband – best ever and my son Baby J, he’s almost seven months old. Isn’t he cute? And, then there’s me. Might I add that this is the first family portrait we’ve taken since Baby J was born.Image  Here’s my two furballs – Hank the french bulldog and Eddie the cane corso. They’re best of friends. We can’t take them out in public because they’re nogoodniks, but we still love them.ImageWe all live happily in our little home with a big backyard.
